Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the daughter of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), both of whom were real estate agents. Her grandfather immigrated from Greece in 1904 and her maternal grandmother was of Irish heritage. Her parents were married in the year 1976. Psaki also has Polish origins. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, Psaki graduated from the College of William & Mary. She earned a degree in English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega member. Psaki participated in backstroke swimming with the William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki started her professional career in 2001 when she worked for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and was the regional press secretary of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced Psaki as an analyst in 2022 United States Elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming site. [35] Psaki's first TV appearance came on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 30, where she talked about the shooting at Robb Elementary School shooting.
