Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers," that premieres on Sunday night on the Ovation the cable channel. It is a look at their work as art brokers who connect artists, collectors and buyers. The duo filmed four episodes which will be aired throughout the month of October beginning Sunday Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. Central. Ovation hosts more than 50 million customers. They also provide support to artists through the OvationDigital Arts Network. They hope to get the green signal to film more. The people and friends I met at Baylor definitely shaped and impacted my life. Dr. Karen Pope in the Art History department. I was able to take a lot of the classes I took under Dr. Pope. She also took me to Chicago and Paris to study the art of. Her passion for art was an enjoyable experience. She also stated that "Art History is like the puzzle. For us as art historians, we always try to find the pieces that can be put together." My family was brought up in the auto industry by my dad and was required to work at the dealership every summer. I was a mechanic's helper changing oil and brakes pads one summer.
